Opening Up Access: Glen Huntly Fence and Path Improvement Project
Work is now underway on the Glen Huntly Fence and Path Improvement Project — a joint initiative with Glen Eira Council to make the southern edge of Caulfield Commons more open, accessible and welcoming for the local community.
The project, running from August to October, is supported by special funding and will deliver a range of improvements to open up the boundary between Glen Huntly Park and Caulfield Commons.
Key works include:
- Extending pathways within Glen Huntly Park, improving safety and ease of access.
- Relocating the existing entry point from Glen Huntly Park to a new location near the pavilion, creating a clearer and more visible access point to Caulfield Commons.
- Adding new amenities along the improved pathway to make visits more enjoyable and comfortable.
When completed, this project will unlock a significant stretch of open space along the boundary of Caulfield Commons and Glen Huntly Park — creating a more seamless, accessible, and connected green corridor for everyone to enjoy
