The Chairperson of the Caulfield Racecourse Reserve Trust, Sam Almaliki has announced he will step down from the role effective 30 June 2026.
Mr Almaliki said it has been a privilege to serve alongside fellow Trustees and the management team in progressing the Trust’s commitment to improving public access, increasing community activity and delivering long-term outcomes for the Reserve.
During his tenure, the Trust has advanced implementation of the Strategic Management Plan, strengthened collaboration with community and stakeholder groups, and continued work to position the organisation for long-term success despite a range of operational and strategic challenges.

“I remain fully committed to supporting the Trust’s objectives during my remaining time in the role and will work to ensure a smooth handover that maintains momentum on current priorities and projects.”
