Following the Reserve’s inclusion on the Victorian Heritage Register, the Caulfield Racecourse Reserve Trust has re-assessed and confirmed its plans to relocate MRC’s proposed maintenance compound to a more suitable site along the outer edge of the racetrack. The revised approach protects the Reserve’s open space, aligns with heritage values, and returns a central area for future community use consistent with the Strategic Management Plan and the core purposes of the Reserve under the Caulfield Racecourse Reserve Act 2017.
