Sam Almaliki

Sam Almaliki

Sam has been described as a dreamer and a doer since he arrived in Australia as an 8-year-old from Iraq in 1997.
 
Sam Almaliki is Chairperson and CEO of national property law firm and online conveyancing business, Settle Easy.
 
He has worked as the Head of Commercial at Acusensus (ASX:ACE), a world leader in road safety technology, where he helped secure over $120 million in contracted revenue in four years. In this role Sam oversaw the company’s entire commercial and sales strategy to Government across Australia and New Zealand.
 
He has also facilitates the Regional Angel Investor Network and has founded Almaliki & Co, which provides cross-industry solutions to businesses and governments. Previously he was Head of Community Engagement at Cricket Australia, overseeing a period of significant growth across participation, fan engagement and sponsorship.
 
He’s also held leadership positions at the ABC Advisory Council, been a member of the SBS Advisory Committee, and Chairs think tank the John Curtin Research Centre.

Greg Sword

Greg is a highly experienced industrial relations professional and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Greg’s professional experience includes roles as Chairman of St Vincent’s Public Hospital Melbourne, National Secretary of the National Union of Workers, Senior Vice President of the ACTU and CEO of LUCRF Industry Super. Greg was also the former CEO of the Lake Tyers Aboriginal Trust. Greg was awarded an Order of Australia for contribution to the Trade Union Movement and to society in general and also received a Lifetime Recognition Award for contribution to Victorian Manufacturing Industry.

Penelope is a town planner with extensive experience in private practice, local and state government.
 
A member of the AICD, she has served on various boards and advisory committees including the Heritage Council of Victoria, the Building Appeals Board and the Metropolitan Development Advisory Panel. She is a member of the Ballarat Design Review Panel and Director at Fulcrum Urban Planning.
 
As a trusted advisor, skilled policy maker and expert in land use and development planning she is passionate about the built environment, place making, transport planning and engaging with communities to positively influence the way people live, work, travel and engage in life.

Stuart is an accomplished Director & CEO across government, not-for-profit, educational and public purpose enterprises. He has served as a non-executive director on a variety of boards and committees to develop and deliver training & industry certification, economic & industry development and asset protection technology services.
 
Stuart has worked for more than 30 years as a local government executive and CEO and recently as CEO of a national member-based company protecting critical infrastructure valued at $400 billion.
 
Stuart holds qualifications as a Company Director and in Business Management and Applied Science.

Stefanie Perri

Stefanie Perri

Stefanie is currently the Senior Proposal Development Manager, External Relations at Monash University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. She has a strong background in community engagement and public relations, with previous roles at Sacred Heart Girls College, Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust and Link Health and Community. Ms Perri was Mayor of the City of Monash from 2011 to 2012 and 2015 to 2016, and was a councillor between 2008 to 2012 and 2014 to 2016. Prior to this, she was an advisor to state and federal members of parliament from 2003 to 2014. Ms Perri is a previous member of the Hampton Traders Committee of Management and a previous board member of the Victorian Immigrant and Refugee Women’s Coalition and Monash Enterprise Centre Ltd. She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Public Relations and Advertising) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors’.

Kelly Ryan

Kelly Ryan

Kelly is the Chief Executive Officer of Real Estate Institute of Victoria. She has extensive executive experience in the sports industry including prior roles as the CEO of Netball Australia, General Manager at Marvel Stadium, Chief Marketing Officer at Western Bulldogs, General Manager at Gold Coast SUNS. Ms Ryan is a member of the Chief Executive Women and former board member of Athletics Victoria and the Gold Coast Community Fund. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and graduate of the Authentic Leadership Program. 

Justin Whitford

Justin Whitford

Justin is the Chief Executive Officer of PFG Australia, a privately owned business servicing the Australian and New Zealand tractor and machinery markets. He is an experienced managing director, with previous roles at Fuso Truck and Bus (Australia Pacific) and Mercedes Benz Commercial Vehicles. Prior to this, Mr Whitford was General Manager – Global Sales and Marketing at Coachair, an engineering and manufacturing company. He is a foundation member of the Very Special Kids Charity. Mr Whitford holds a degree in Industrial Design and a Diploma of Advertising and Design.
